As Kosovo’s Ambassador to Germany, my mission is rooted in fostering strong, cooperative relationships between Kosovo and Germany.
I am dedicated to advancing diplomacy, promoting Kosovo’s rich culture, and building bridges of mutual respect and understanding between our nations. Through this role, I aim to amplify Kosovo’s voice in Europe and beyond.
Achievements
I am deeply grateful to be recognized as an author and thought leader in the fields of European foreign policy, democracy, and the evolving role of the Balkans in international relations. My work reflects a passion for connecting historical analysis with today’s geopolitical challenges, and I remain humbled by those who have valued and shared my perspectives along the way.
In a significant diplomatic achievement, the Embassy of Kosovo in Berlin has successfully ensured that citizens from Kosovo residing in Germany are now officially registered as citizens of the Republic of Kosovo, rather than being inaccurately listed as Serbian nationals. This change, resulting from continuous efforts and communications with German institutions—including the Federal Chancellery, the Federal Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Interior, and Justice—addresses an issue that has persisted for over 16 years, affecting tens of thousands of Kosovars. Ambassador Faruk Ajeti has called on all affected citizens to contact the competent German authorities to correct their documentation, emphasizing that 16 German states and over 5,200 civil registry centers have been informed of this important change.
Initiated trade agreements that fostered new opportunities for Kosovar businesses in Germany.
Organized cultural exchanges, including art exhibitions and film festivals, showcasing Kosovo’s creative talent.
