Education - A Foundation for Thoughtful Diplomacy and Research

My academic journey has deeply shaped who I am today as a scholar, a diplomat, and a communicator. From my first steps in political science to earning the highest academic distinction at the University of Vienna, each stage of my education has strengthened my commitment to understanding international relations, democratic development, and Kosovo’s role in Europe.

Knowledge must be pursued not only for understanding the world but for inspiring change within it.

PhD in Political Science - University of Vienna

I completed my doctorate (Dr. phil.) at the Institute of Political Science, University of Vienna, where I conducted in-depth research on Austrian foreign policy toward Kosovo from 1986 to 1999. This work — defended summa cum laude — explores how Austria engaged with Kosovo during a period of profound political transformation in Europe.

The PhD not only advanced my academic expertise but also helped bridge scholarly insight and practical diplomacy, informing my contributions to international discourse and reinforcing my belief that rigorous research can meaningfully shape public understanding and policy.
